Biography

Sérgio Silva, is a Portuguese sound director. He has worked in cinema, television and advertising since 2005, having graduated from the Catholic University in Sound and Image - Sound Specialization.
In his vast portfolio, he has worked with producers such as: Bando à Parte, Spi, Miramemira, Uma Pedra no Shoe, RTP, Portocabo, Fado Filmes, Filmes da Mente, Frame Productions, Pixbee, Hop!, Maruxiña, Major West, Ukbar Filmes, Filmika Galaika, Francisco Manso Produções, Plural and Toonelada.

“Ubu” (Sound Director) – Paulo Abreu. Produced by Pedra no Shoe – Premiered at the Mar del Plata International Film Festival and LEFFEST - Lisbon Film Festival in competition.

”O Que Arde” (Sound Director) – Oliver Laxe – produced by Miramemira - film that won 18 awards in 28 nominations at important film festivals such as Cannes, Chicago, Gaudí, Goya, Hainan, Mar del Plata, Mestre Mateo, Sant Jordi, Thessaloniki and shortlisted to represent Spain at the 2021 Oscars.
